1and1 !!!!

Who regulates domain registrars....?

I have just been done like a kipper with our notorious friends from 1and1....

In a nutshell:

They registered a domain i had cancelled (had the confirmation)

They registered the domain with an expired credit card ,anyway contacted them and they appoligised and said we couldn't reamburse you because the credit card on file has expired...so they gave me the instructions how to change the details and i replaced the credit card details ,now because they have my new credit card details they have decided not to reamburse me....typical now they have covered there backs by having a current credit card on file.....

has anybody ever tried a petition with these jokers and what was the outcome ?

Do a chargeback.

Problem is then it will be passed to there equally notorious finance arm who are evil personified....

did make me chuckle.....
