Currently I'm experencing both no response at:
http://www.ukreg.com

And - no response from a number of domains using UKREG/fasthosts forwarding services.

Have observed this for 15+ minutes now.

I'm having the same problem - all my websites are down too and have been all day!

Anyone got the tel support no?

Not resolving here either, but fortunately I moved all of my names from ukreg earlier this month. Presumably a temporary problem that will get fixed tomorrow.

Must be a lot of people/sheep who assume largest==reliable?

Other forums indicate the cause is a fibre optic break, and that fasthosts, have only one connectivity supplier - no backups. - this is the UKs largest ... recently valued at 61 Million Pounds http://www.theregister.co.uk/2006/05/10/fast_hosts/

All seems to be back up and running now. Still a pretty poor service if that was the problem. Crazy to think that they dont have a backup feed.
