If the names are in your account, then your email must be on the contact details at Nominet and you can log in and sell the domain name back to yourself or someone else. Then let Nominet, 123-reg and people like Doug (of course speaking generally not specifically to him, could be anyone who uses 123-reg 1&1 etc) to do battle and sort it out who is to blame for a domain being sold. Just sit back with the and watch the sh1t hit the fan.

when you sell a domain that is in your 123 reg account, you have to do a suppport ticket and ask them to delete them if you push it as well to another 123 account, that should have been end of it write to the md and ask for compensation or to really piss them off raise it with trading standards |

Do they have a twitter account where you can publicly 'discuss' this with them to get their attention? Edit: Seems they do! http://twitter.com/#!/123Reg |

I'll pop a cap in 123's arse.. i'll **** 123 like a **************, I don't even want to comprehend what a ************* is, but i'll **** 123 like one, cos I seen it in the movies. skin up Quote:

I would say the fundamental reason you are getting this problem is that any TAG change will not be recognised (rightly or wrongly) by the 123-reg control panel. A TAG change itself is invisible as far as the code of the interface is concerned, it's just not recognised by the system. So, as others have said, to stop this happening to you, you need to "cancel" the domain in the interface. There is either a manual process for this that you can do from the interface, or you have to contact customer support. Hope that helps. Rgds

Hi I work on behalf of 123-reg. @ user FagEnd & user davedevelopment Please reply back to the open support ticket so that 123-reg can issue a refund for the incorrect domain renewals from your account. Regards, Ricky

The issue described here has been raised in detail to our support teams, in this case the customer has demonstrated and proved that the tag was changed away from 123-reg from his account and therefore the renewal shouldn't have taken place.
