ENOM also leave domains lingering if they have been retagged via nominet, however if you try to renew it fails, as it should. A support ticket later and its gone.

On the flip side I asked ENOM to retag 300+ domains from one of my ENOM accounts over to my own TAG and all domains were automatically removed from ENOM account.

Do any large UK registrars actually handle this situation correctly?
www.Daily.co.uk handles it perfectly, never had any problems with them. I would go as far as saying that Daily is THE best public facing registrar for UK domains.

Suppose I'd better update this thread to say that I was fully refunded for this. Ricky sorted it out pronto, he must be allowed to veer from the script the support staff are forced to abide by

Gary (3AC on here) has done pretty well getting a blog post rant about 1&1 ranking for 1&1, his post comes directly underneath 1and1.co.uk domains in the SERPS for '1&1', maybe we can talk him into doing the same for 123.

Here's what their support said to me:
Did you get a refund?

They offered, but I didn't bother as it required me giving them my card details, much the same as you.

Insist on a refund if you paid with paypal. They asked for my card details, stating that the refund had failed. They never had my card details in the first place.

craigj is on a distinguished road

Really do despise 123-reg support.

You should insist they give you a refund via paypal.
