![]() | renting out a domain name
I have a company who are interested in a domain name of mine, they dont want to pay the asking price but have asked if I would rent them the name. I bought a domain name rental agreement form from compactlaw a while ago and the text looks pretty good, but has anyone else rented a name out and did they have any problems with the client trying the DRS route to get the name transferred to them etc. any help/guidance appreciated. cheers Justin |

I've rented a domain from someone in the past, I've not rented one out. I am not a lawyer, but surely if someone rents something off you they are accepting your legal and rightful ownership of it, otherwise why would they rent it? I'd be amazed if they could rent and then DRS. Then again, with Nominet anything is possible! |
