Hi Guys, Done alot of trading on here and had no problems, but I feel I should make you aware of kasabian19. I will show you PM thread below. I advertised newstyle.co.uk for sale on the forum today and had this reply [quote] kasabian19 Will you accept 250? [quote DB] kasabian19 - looking for £300 mate sorry Sean [quote] kasabian19 275? [quote DB] Go on then Deal Done! Can you email me your full details so that I can send out transfer papers and provide you will payment details? My email address is sean @ domainbrand.co.uk I will mark as sold now Cheers --------- So after a few hours of no email and flagging the domain name as sold, I started to get a bit worried so I sent a PM and got this reply --------- [quote] kasabian19 Sorry mate, just after i made your offer i got a reply to offer for another domain, which is in my opinion a better name and better value as got it for 225. ---------- I would like to leave this person bad feedback Admin so other traders can be warned about him and his dealings. + he seems to be also selling stolen content on here also which arosed my suspicion from the start! (cheers for heads up Rob) Please either ban him from making sales posts and making bids, I would normaly send a solictors email requesting payment as we agreed a sale! Cheers Sean Flynn

A bit unfair! Just becuase i got a better offer 2 minutes later doesn't mean i'm a bad 'trader' or have done anything wrong! I apologised to DB, i think its a bit harsh to point this out to people when its not like i havent paid or have ripped someone off and scammed someone! I apologies again, i ddint mean to waste your time but im sure you;d have done the same in my position Selling stolen content? Excuse me? Proof etc...? The site i am selling i have made myself, as well as the system. Thankyou. Last edited by kasabian19; 21-11-2006 at 10:21:08 PM. |

And the need for the sarcasm is? Hiding behind your computer thats a shock. Look mate ive apologised, and havent caused to to be out of pocket or any distress, so whats the problem? Can you offer proof of stolen content or are you just using that to try and make me sound even worse? I can see why your doing this, although it is rather immature and childish to make silly comments. Im from lancs too. How about we discuss this like adults? ![]() | No offence intended, but a good start would be to reply to Rob's post at http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/develo...on-sale-3.html Cheers, P.

Personally I would say that you are being much too presumptive and harsh on here towards kasabian19. (1) Is it established beyond doubt that the content is "stolen" . I like to deal in facts before I make such accusations as are being made against him. YES it may LOOK LIKE it is stolen but to jump to conclusions and defame the guy totally is wrong. (2) OK so he said he would buy a domain and then backtracked. Have you not heard of sale of goods act that allows such very actions ?. Of course that is not intended for domains but the general intention is that people can change their mind. Has DB never ever in his life said he would buy something and then changed his mind ?. Of course he has. Give the guy some slack. Just because DB doesnt like him shouldnt make him public enemy no.1 DG |

Seems a bit much to name and shame for this minor infraction of the 'rules' - just the rough and tumble of trading in my book. Seller didn't actually lose money, did he? So sometimes a deal falls through. And so? In contrast I seem to remember a thread on here some time ago where someone was very rightly hacked off about a transaction where he had bought a domain for x,xxx from another Acorn trader which turned out to have been a stats/ earnings scam. He chose not to name the offender - not sure about that decision. I agree, if one agrees to buy one really ought to have a very good reason for not then going ahead. Not sure GBP 50 (was that the amount?) is a very good reason for not going ahead. Tut tut K, bad boy, slapped wrist, don't do it again, one red square. End.
