Domain Renewal Warning

Domain Registry of America a genuine company sends a letter out to your saying your domains are due for renewal please pay us.

DONT as they are a scam to move the domain away to them.
Only happens on none UK domains.

See below picture.

Yep

Got one of those yesterday on one of my .coms.

The reply envelope is to an office address at 56 Gloucester Rd, Suite 526, London, SW7 4UB

Put the correpsondance in the round file tray

They have simply harvested the whois data and sent loads out on spec.

I'll be sending the empty reply envelope back without a stamp, suggest you do the same, they may get the message then !

We had one of these earlier in the year. Unfortunately, it went straight to the Finance Director and he paid without speak to IT.

Thankfully, it didn't go any further than the payment and we still have the domain in question!!

If they're from your registrar and the dates match, then it aint a scam, if they're from another company, it's a scam or just not worth bothering with.

I've been getting this scam spam snail mail for years from these idiots - I'm so used to it that I know the logo on the enveleope and it goes straight into the hat on the naughty chair.
