Is somebody trying to hack my site

I am not to clued up on this sort of thing, but got this in my guestbook on my site My funny site

It says this <script>alert("safa")</script>

I am thinking safa is someones name ?

For what i have read it could be somebody trying to hack my site, any advice.

It looks just like some kind of javascript to popup a dialog.

Needless to say, you should have HTML etc. disabled on your guestbook/comment forms.

I was paranoid because i know some people myself and my dad fell out with on an another forum, well they hacked my dads site and deleted all e-mails associated with his site.

Only yesterday i went back on the forum for the 1st time since February.

Thought someone was try to edit the source or something.

Ah well college only 4 months away, i'll start learning for myself then

I'll take a look in my editor and guest book settings.
