Ok. Well I dont want to create friction between likeminded people in the industry, my aim has never been to waste people's time but to ascertain whether or not this type of malpractice is real and actually happening to me.

I think it first happened at least a year ago. With the first few occasions I asssumed coincidence, the next couple I thought "ah..the systems against me"!!, and the next time was when I started to think ..."Hang on...I think is is actually happening". So because I didn't really believe it was happening at first I kept limited records of it. I didnt answer your question invincible purely for the reasons I stated...I dont have all the facts to hand yet.

It will take time to build this 'dossier' up to a point where I can say...d'ya know what....XXX is ripping me off. That is not a statement I would make likely, hence my reasons behind not giving all the details.

Whether people believe their time is being wasted, well I can't answer that, but all the info Im getting through this thread and otherwise is certainly helping me; therefore its not a waste of time IMHO.

I hope you can see past the 'annoying' side of this thread to realise I am trying do the right thing here.

Years ago, it used to happen at 123, even in the early hours, you do a search, add to your basket so as to keep track, and when deleting from your basked and regging the domains, when going back and trying to reg the others you had not initially, they had been regged regularly, and within minutes sometimes, and yes, like you have experienced, frozen etc and then gone, by someone in the north east no less

Just a few weeks back, i was going to reg emerald cut, regged a few others and went back to it a day later, bingo it had been regged. By someone in Nottingham, no big companies based there are there

Week later I had some domain credits at fasthosts, but had used another whois, and searched for tablediamonds.com, again, regged some others, and went back for that one, seems 1and1 internet now have it parked at sedo.

A hosting affiliate I used years ago, let you see the domain searches, so no surprise the big guys have em, would like to know if the data is for sale etc?

Still, i shoud have taken the advice I usually stick to, and searched direct.

And after all, its their business, so although not that happy, its up to them, and like any business like that, see you come the revolution lol

Arrow Update

I have forwarded information to Nominet and have spoken to them regarding this matter and they are taking it seriously. Once I have some more information, I will post it here.

DomainAngel, that sounds like a script as was pointed out earlier in this thread. If you wish to give me more information (by PM please for privacy reasons), then I would be happy to forward that info on to Nominet, and that goes for anyone who has some information related to this matter.

Paul
