![]() | the power of .co.uk
I just want to make sure I have this right: If I am a consumer in the UK, looking to buy something, the .co.uk carries more authority than .net, correct? In other words, if I am starting a mobilephone business, and mobilephones.net and mobilephones.co.uk are both available, doesn't the .co.uk carry much more status and prestige to the consumer in England? |

Yes and no, it depends what you're offering, longer term you'll get found out if you're lacking on .co.uk over the .net. Ask parking pages what they get over best business on .net it's the offering that matters, once a user lands, they may well not come back unless they're drunk.
