Newbee Question

Hi

I have quite a few domains which i have collected over the years but done little if anything with.

I have launched a few sites recently www.up-2-u.com & .co.uk a Classified ads site and www.locally2u.com , .co.uk & locallytoyou.com, .co.uk and other variations for a local directory site. A few property sites www.property4u2rent.com, .co.uk www.property4u2buy.com, .co.uk.

I also have these :-

www.thefashionguide.co.uk, www.bezzymates.co.uk, www.themedbreaks.com, .co.uk, www.themeparkbreaks.com, .co.uk, www.propertybymail.com, .co.uk, www.quotebymail.com, .co.uk...+ many more...

The question when I finally get to the point is do these domains seem valuable and is it better to sell or try and build some affiliate revenue..

Any advice most appreciated..Apologies is posted in the wrong place

Cheers

I'd start over, mate.

Don't see anything valuable there, I'm afraid. I'd dump them and start over after studying up on what makes a domain name good and worth money.

See my thread here:
http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/domain...-find-out.html

Cruise the forums for other good advice.

Look for short (2 words max) simple domains that you can optimize for the search engines. Research and choose your affiliates first, then get a domain name that works for them.

Again, lots of Web research is required to find the good ones, but I'd start with some eBay niches. Read up on eBay's affiliate membership and then pick some product niches that appeal to you. We always do better at something when it is in our area of interest and expertise.

Good Luck. And keep asking questions. But also seek out answers for yourself. He who does the most work, learns fastest.

thefashionguide.co.uk is an ok name too. again developed could be worth something.

i think as long as you learn from any mistakes you make, but gradually buy better names then your on the right track.

Good luck
