Client Transfer Prohibited?

Just registered a domain name for my company - .co.uk and am looking into teh .com which has a holding page. I can see that its registered to an individual but the whois shows the following - can anyone tell me what this means

Status: clientTransferProhibited
Status: clientDeleteProhibited
Updated Date: 04-dec-2006
Creation Date: 13-dec-1999
Expiration Date: 13-dec-2007

It means the domain has been locked. It's a setting which means any domain settings can't be changed without first being unlocked.

Security to stop domain nabbing.

Ok, so what happens when it expires in december? it stays locked?

what makes you say it will expire. Most likely it will be renewed. If not then the registry will remove the lock status during the deletion phase.... if it's not renewed.
