Nominet are pretty thorough about checking things out, which can lead to some annoying holes and loops. Such as domains registered in a company name prior to the company being formed to protect the domain name while the legal process of company formation took place. In the early days of .uk registrations, things weren't as tight as they are now from a legal standpoint regarding provision of data. |
