What are the risks?

Please help the noob again

If I see that a planned visitor attraction which will be famous the world over has not registered it's .com or .co.uk, what are the risks to me from registering them?

Is the only risk that I may be asked to hand them over?

I'd register them first and worry later.

Before somebody else does
It is worth the risk considering it won't cost much more than £10 ($20) for both.

unless they send out the big guns for it

m/soft did that this year and a lot of people got hit hard.

so weigh up the pros and cons based on who / what it is.

Thats my question really, can they have you for more than handing it over? can they go for costs, etc....?

The domain name would be three words, two generic and the other the place name. It is yet unnamed, primarily due to on-going planning disputes, they have not announced a name.
