Clock top post

rob that was a top post...

it is difficult to quantify and depends on your eventual aim.....just remember many cats are skinned many ways BUT remmeber to do something remarkable i.e. do a weird thing at a weird time and it may just catch on....and that 'catch on' could pay billions of times the investment

Personally I think I should be a Prime Minister....weird thought indeed

LOL

£10k on betfair would be the way to go, get someone to build you an API for betfair and away you go.

With those programmes it will search around betfair and place "no lose" bets for you. It's a bit complicated to go into but you can make 0.3% a time for no risk.

I know people are probably thinking, no lose betting, not another system. But betfair will let programs trawl the site and as soon as the odds are right, you can lay money on all outcomes and whatever happens, you win cash. Betfair charge a racket for it though.

I know people who do this and it works. Only worth doing it with a good amount of wonga though!

I think betfair charge people £450 a month for access to their API

First time I tried betfair I got confused and started taking bets against a draw in the last minute when chelsea were playing watford last year. Put £250 against it being a draw with it being 1-1 in injury time (thought I was putting money on a draw) Chelsea scored in injury time and I was gutted, till I checked my account and found a £1000+ in there,

But yep it takes some cash to get started, a decent one is

cover all the draws

0-0
1-1
2-2
3-3

and then take bets against it being a draw, you can make some decent cash doing that with little risk. Obviously if you have access to API and a script that will flag matches up that meet your formula, then you are in the money.
