How to Check Google Searches when Valuing a Domain

Hello,

What is the link for checking google popularity, searches, etc. when valuing a domain?

Are there other links that are helpful for seeing these kinds of stats and valuing domains?

Theres a good tool that does it all for you. "Domain Research Tool".

The normal price is $249.99 but if you visit "Droppings.co.uk" then Domain Tools and use the link there its $149.00.

Well worth the money IMO.

Yes, DRT is good, I got it through the domain tools link at droppings.co.uk as well

I'll likely buy that one, but I was looking for something that just did google popularity, type-ins, etc.

As I read through this forum, I notice that people refer to the number of searches on Google, etc. but when I simply type the words or domains into google, I get different results than the ones people are quoting.

So I'm concluding that they're using something different to reach their conclusions.

I'm wondering what that link is. Can anyone tell me?

Log in to your Google Adwords account here (open an account if you haven't got one):

Google Adwords Login

Under the 'Campaign Management' tab, select 'Tools', then the 'Traffic Estimator' on the page.

Enter a list of your chosen key words as specified, select the relevant country at the bottom, then hit 'Continue'.

It'll give you a rough estimate to some of the information you need anyway.
