As a rule, no, domains on Ebay do not sell. Unless you have a large batch that you want to sell out at just what they cost you to register.

agreed i tried and sold a few for £25 - 30 and that's buy it now price. if you place it for bidding at 99p you will end up getting the reg fee or maybe even less.

ebay buyers usually won't go over $50 for a domain. great place for bargain hunting. or disposing your worst/expiring domains

I disagree,

I have sold single domain names for over £500 on Ebay. I find if done properly its a great way to capture your target audience. For example I sold a Volkswagen related domain for over £500 because i put popular models of VW cars in the title. This ment I was getting hundreds and hundreds of hits from people in the VW scene!

Most names don't sell on ebay because they aren't worth bidding for. That's the reality.

Agree, just had a look on ebay!
Will certainly give you a laugh, some of the domains have hilarious BIN prices.

I don't know how much 4 letter uk domains are worth? Well, you can get one on ebay for just £25,0000!

I also agree ebay is a good place (although there are much better places). 95% are junk and not worth bothering with, however I've sold and bought a few quality domains for reasonable prices. Must admit it does take time sifting through them.

I agree. They sell only if they are searched and found by enthusiasts in that niche who happen to know their way around domains, not to domianers.

This is the truth!

Some of the domains on eBay are totally overpriced!

In general eBay in pants, but I bought s0ccer.net one day, played around with it, created a logo and sold it in a short auction a couple of days for £250 not a bad return and a little pocket money for half an hours work..

But I pretty much agree with most people here, for selling domain eBay is no use - Wish it was different though!!!
