I like threads like this one. I enjoy seeing what others are reading, writing and doing in general. Here are mine got over the past few days:

ThriftXchange.com (for a website that will take a good bit of work)

CreditProvider.eu (I know .eu isn't great, but I think the name is quite good)

InsuranceFile.info (I'm developing this into a general information site on insurance)

Dazzlechat.net (the .com is gone and just parked, but I like the .net version for a forum anyway)

Uproarious.co.uk (I hope to develop this into a humour/comedy site)

Anyone thought of giving the .eu's a chance at only been £1.17 inc VAT at 123-reg for 1 year?

Not much income needed to get your money back over the year to make it worth while.

I thought I'd reg a few for what it cost, tried to keep them European related too.

I think .eu is a bit like me.uk. As long as you have good keywords and stick something up with adsense it will pay for itself but i don't think there is a huge reseller market unless you have a prime generic.

Nice name, but one you will have to hold on to for a few years given the current market.

I read in the papers last week there is a block of 200 flats in Glasgow. Out of this there is only 8 owner occupied, the rest were bought off plan as buy to rent. In the last 3 months, 80 have been vacated as they could rent cheaper elsewhere and the owners have not been able to get new tennants.

Lots of repossesions in the wind.

No doubt this is the same country wide.
