Arrow Thoughts on dot info domains..

I was wondering what others think about .info domains, especially as 123-reg are doing them for 99p.
Most of the world, no matter what language, understand the term as its quite universal.

Personally I think they are a sleeping giant (ok, maybe not giant) or at least worth a punt at the price...anbody else?

If it's a good keyword I buy them. This is even more likely if it's the only extension left on a good keyword.

I own a very small amount of .info's, but regged BatteryCars.info the other day. Seems to have a fairly good search amount and that will be sure to improve as the industry gets bigger.

Others I reg are like CarbonSolution.info, TradingRights.info and FootprintFader.info, etc, ones which I think are clickable dot infos or if I already own the same term with another extension.

If I own more than one extension I usually try to sell them together. Do you think it is worth seperating them and keeping the .info to develop?

Yes. I will often buy a given keyword domain in two extensions and take the view that I will develop one and sell or swap the other.
