Apps TM'd?

Seen a load of TV ads on Iphone's apps. Some of them are truly very good and looks a promising market.

I've just bought a load of "app" related names, anyone know if they are trademarked. I could not see anything to say they were, so would I be right in assuming that there will be apps sold on other phones?

I don't think anyone could ever claim the word "app" as theirs. AppStore is Apple's online store, so that would be trademarked.

There has been some news of an Android app store (or is it out already?)

Some of the names are TM's like 'Pull My Finger App' and stuff like that, but just random words with App on should be ok.

Looks like a crack on it that area I think. Taking a punt on appforum and appsforum, plus a few others that are so good they have slipped my mind.

Just was a bit worried of taking on the mighty apple
