Domain owned by dissolved company

Hi guys,

I've seen a domain I want which is currently suspended. It was owned by a company that was dissolved in 08 (according to companies house). It doesn't require a renewal until towards the end of 2010.

Any chance I can ring Nominet and ask them to drop it earlier?

If it is suspended before the renewal date it means that nominet will be dropping it early.

However someone will have reported this to nominet so you won't be the only one with your eye on it.

Will drop in approx 30 days from date of suspension - unless the current owner changes the registrant details to person or new company name.

Last updated was early August so it's been 30+ days...

Could this mean someone is transferring it

Probably won't drop then. Normally if it goes past the 30 days it means that nominet are in the process of changing registrant details
