Anyone think they will benefit Google changing its AdWord trade mark policy 14 Sept

Have some names not trademarks as such but the more generic term for certain products etc supplied... Would the new policy bring in a better chance of a sale or increase advertising revenue chances if you did the following

E.g. toothpaste.whatever would it make Colgate more interested if? I you had ad words for there competition in either buying, advertising on site, put them off or kill any chance of sales or advertising revenue in the future from them...?

!Basic jist of new adwords policy is It will allow in certain circumstances, advertisers in the UK to use third party trade marks in advertisements that appear on Google’s search results. Then trade mark owners will have to demand that Google investigate and, where appropriate, take down advertisements which are misleading...)

Anyone think they will benefit or changing there marketing using above or any other methods associated with the new policy with this in mind ..?I know this is a more aggressive form of marketing a domain and would it drive them in or be counter productive

Yes, anything that allows a greater CTR from ad copy is a good thing, especially if users are looking for or want to find those specific trademarks and you have them featured on your site. Bonus!
