I have been looking on whois and saw that all thisisUKGEOCOUNTY names are taken, by what seems to be the same 3 or 4 people.

I found what i think is the only one not to be registered and decided to register it.

What are your thoughts about this is ukgeo co.uk domains?, does anyone know of any decent sales of them?.
Are these name worth the reg in general?

I have a few of these, and did own This is Whitby which I filled out quite nicely. I took photos, added maps, 3d tours etc and updated it regular but sold it on here.

The bulk are owned by local (nationally owed) news papers like Northcliffe etc

They are a nice format as a domain but like any other domain just need the effort and content. Saying that the domain format Thisis........co.uk is a recognised one by Joe Public.

I do like the sound and format of them but am actually looking to sell the set of 5 I have, if your interested.

Focusing on other projects.

GolddiggerGuy, nice work with your site, thanks for the offer, but i only regged this on as it is my own county and was free when all the others are taken, i am not sure what to do with it as yet, but living in the county means if i do decide to develop it will make life a little easier in terms of content.

After a little more research i saw that thisissurrey.co.uk just sold for £1k at sedo.
