 |  Yahoo Site Explorer API closing.
I'd be grateful for opinions regarding an alternative to the Yahoo Site Explorer tool. What site(s) do you consider reasonably authoritative for backlink checking? Yahoo are shutting down their API but not the public system. Thanks! |

SEOMoz's OpenSiteExplorer.org and MajesticSEO.com are head and above anything else. Both are paid for, SEOMoz is subscription, Majestic offers PAYG options. BElieve both have APIs, we use the SEOMoz API for my backlink ready reckoner (Backlinks.in) so ask away if you've any questions about it.
