For me personally:

.com & .co.uk (joint first, depending on where you are, I prefer the .co.uk).

2. org.uk
3. net
4. org (I hate these, although did sell one once for a good profit!).

Bearing in mind I'm not a domainer, my top 5 would be...

Number 1 .com
Number 2 .co.uk
Number 3 .me
Number 4 .net
Number 5 .org

From an SEO point of view, assuming you only want to target the UK - my order would be:

.co.uk
.com
.org
.net
.org.uk

More than anything else, .net being 4th behind .org is purely a personal preference.

.co.uk
.org.uk
.com
.net
.org

If I was going to build a site on it, then I would consider an me.uk. I have seen a few doing well in the search engines.

Interesting that your preferences have changed from a few months, where you ranked the org.uk above the net/org (http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/domain...tml#post280608).

It really doesn't make much difference?

I would never touch .me.uk, though.
