uk.com - Any good or a no go?

Is it worth registering a uk.com extension to use for a site development?

Can they rank OK or do users get them mixed up with .com generally?

Not least the expense of registering them for two years min, I'm concerned I don't want a duff extension (although it has the term I'm after in the .ext) that doesn't rank well, confusing, etc.

Anyone use these to success or have any comments generally?

Thanks!

What put me off was some time ago g**gle had a policy towards sub domains and uk.com is a sub domain but JurrysInns are doing well with sub domains on hotels and I used to notice that either hotels uk com or hotel uk com used to be high on g**gle for many hotel geo's

Classified Rating: 100% (1)

Haha you could tell Pooke really needed to fart thru that whole interview

uk.com is okay actually. I've seen quite a few ranking well recently in competitive niches.

Would I build a business around one tho? NO.

octopus is on a distinguished road

No, I would rather register a .co.uk/.com or relevent country tld. (even to the extent of not registering the exact term you're looking for)
