I did set myself a goal. Which was to earn £3k per month in parking rev with a possible £30k to invest to make that happen.

Even with all the associated costs involved. Dac, membership, tag, servers etc I believe I can achieve that alot less then my budget.. maybe even half.

The only thing that really kills it is the time involved. writting a decent script, tweaking the pants off it, scanning domains hours each day. All adds up.

Still theres the element of fun that keeps me going.. after all theres easier ways to make a living.

Well The replies give me and others hope, and the incentive to devote a bit more time, but I'm going down the developing affiliate site route as oppossed to parking as I don't have dac so can't compete with you guys. £500pm pocket money will do me But being able to chuck my job and work from home would be nice!

heheheee thats funny Im doing domains to give up the affiliate stuff.. still the affiliate stuff has been good to me.

Very few *real jobs give you the opportunity to make alot of money, something I always say to people I know is "you need to be in a situation where you can make alot of money" meaning why work a dead end job day in day out thats never going to earn you £xxxxxx.

Devote you time to somthing that has no limits or possibilities you will make more plus you will be happier. Affiliate stuff and domaining seem pretty good choices

Exactly aqua, you can be poor forever in your day job but in these ones at least you get to be rich once in a while if not the possiblity forever. plus it's about being in control, you can't always but more often than the not the ability is there.

I curently only genrate around £100 per month from around 250 domains parked on SEDO, getting around 4000 unique views per month.

To generate 3k per month would you be looking at in excess of 120,000 uniques per month ? or I my parked domains just not getting a good enough click through rate.

You got it. Unless they are all Adult domains, I would look at the keywords or think about moving them.

You meed more levels in your poll!

Almost all of my income is from parking but this month I started playing with affiliate pages. One (Greenflag) picked up 4 sign ups in the first week (Worth £80 to me).

Regards,

Newbie.
