advise on hight cpc

I have been searching away while watching tv just to pass some time, but something has interested me and im wondering weather this would be a rubbish buy or not.

It doesnt have many exacts only 1300 local exacts but has a CPC of �10.71
so sounds ok just as that, its 2 words but a hyphen between them and is a ,org.uk, would you think its worth anything?

Before purchasing it, be sure that you are going to develop it, as without revenue this domain will (almost definitely) not sell.
Just thought I would drop that in first before we start seeing sales threads in multiple forums in 4 days time.

The exacts are ok to work with, but as has been said time and time again, never take the google keyword tool as gospel!

You will also need to check out the competition in the SERPs when doing a search for that exact search term. Whats the competition like?

Could/Will you personally invest the time and money into quality content, getting quality inbound links and give it the time it needs to mature naturally in SERPs in order to start receiving firstly traffic, then clicks, which ultimately leads to revenue?

If the answer to any one of these questions is "no", then don't buy it. Simples.

My advice - to you directly - would be to start experimenting with your domains and ideas and see what works and what doesn't.

It will take a considerable amount of investment in both time and money, but anything that's worth while is both expensive and takes a lot of hard work!

You need to start being realistic with both your purchases and your (attempted) sales. You need to give the domains the effort they require if you genuinely feel they are a "money maker".

Hmmm yea I do understand all of that, time is money and money is time!
I will have a think about it and see if I will have the time to get it rolling before I buy, If not I may post it on here and let someone else reg it, what is the chances of get �10 CPC though? The tool says it but realistic what is it more likely to be, the competition is high

publishers get 68% of the CPC and each ad click cost varies.

The cost depends on the advertiser and also on your website ratings. If your website is related and high rated on some keywords in which advertiser has an interests then the cpc rate will rise.

how about the advertiser competition for that keyword...?
i will take it if it shows high advertiser competition for that keyword
