Cool hyphenated co.uk or org.uk

I personally would go for the co.uk but what do you guys prefer?

hyphenated co.uk or org.uk without the hyphen

.org.uk without, I never had much success with hyphenated .co.uks

Agreed, I picked a few hyphen .co.uk domains and they just never really worked, I've learnt my lesson and avoid them now.

Cheers - Andy

It depends what you're trying to do. I have no trouble getting them to the top of Google, but its a pain using a hyphen if you need customers to remember it.

Being a complete lazy fatty, I have no trouble remembering just-eat.co.uk

I would probably starve if it wasn't for that website and pot noodles

Hmmmmmmmmmmm...............

This is always i good one, because in Germany they prefer hyphens

and also at the start, if i remember correctly hyphens in the uk were actually

preferred too , i dont think it matters if its a .co.uk .org.uk hyphenated a .co
.com .net or a .org

its its on page 1 of Google , or if it makes money , to a business owner

what do you think he will buy , a hyphenated .org that is page 1 position 2 in Google and making money , or the sweet virgin domain that's not indexed
and will have to go through the development cycle , and the owner thinks it worth a mint , been there lol

There are a few successful hyphenated sites so I few it all depends. If you get it ranked it probably becomes a secondary consideration. It's clearly not a first choice solution, but I guess there are certain cases where a hyphen wouldn't put me off.
