    All,

I was reading through this thread on the purchase of a large portfolio of domains and it got me thinking about how the more advanced forumites here manage such portfolios.

I have around ten domains which are set with two registrars which I'm managing on a card index for things like mysql database names and passwords and renewal dates (all automatic) but I can see that migrating to excel at some point. Do you also set up mail accounts for each of the domains? Or do you use one over-arching main account for all enquiries? Any help and advice would be welcome.

    Thanks

Some kind of database no doubt.

That doesn't sound very fire or other disaster proof. :)

Depends what you wish to "appear" separate. Checking multiple mailboxes is more of a PITA than checking one. Filters and labels can help with things. With many solutions it is still possible to have limitless email address "rules" forwarding to one mailbox. It comes down to how you wish to present yourself because the underlying outcome is largely the same.
