UK Bulk Checker

Latest build now up...

New features:

* Copy all availables to clipboard
* Progress indicator (% done)
* Proxy file (proxy.dat) -- put a proxy URL in here and program will fill out the proxy field automatically on stratup. Sample proxy.dat supplied!
* Few fixes & improvements

Nice one, it's certainly coming along - Give it a couple more months and I might start using this once you've got all the features sorted.

Please what ever you do with any new features retain the speed of the checker... Its nice and quick!

A few minor asthetic things:

1. Make the app maximisable (I know from experience that this isn't as easy as some people think becasue of layout etc but I'm not a big fan of this feature being disabled)

2. Use colour - when a domain is available highlight it as green and ready to be registered so that the availables stand out from the rest.

3. When you click on a name it doesn't highlight in blue... this would make it easier to read accross a line.

4. What is the mouse icon that appears when you hover over the names on the right?? Not needed in my opinion - It feels like theres something stuck to my mouse!

These are all user issues that will help anyone use your tool. Ive developed software for people before and user experience / ease of use is always important.

Functionality wise I'm sure you've got loads to add so I wont bother with any suggestions, you seem to be getting right on this project and good for you!!

Well done so far, its coming along very nicely!

Minor fixes:

* Domain row is highlighted when selected
* Proxy list now allows multiple proxies URLs (enter them 1 per line in the proxy.dat file)

is there any way of adding multiple keywords with a space imbetween, which your program searches for domains and deletes the spaces?

Also any chance of making it where you can search the list for all .uk at the same time?

Usually Nominet, but there is a Timeout option at the bottom which you can change... If there continues to be a problem, try using the proxy script, as it might be your connection...

I don't have any problems with it on my connection...

The latest version is now out - Mally there is now an Add box like in DNA so you can select all UK domains and then it will add them to the listbox.

Also, minor fixes...

Great tool. Except I get "Limit Exceeded" after a battering of only500 domains. Is there anyway to get around this.

I have just the time function and also tried running it behind IP anonymous software like Ghost Surf 2007, which works well for keywords analyzer.

I am at my wits end to find a suitable domain name whois checking software for .co.uk names. Have tried DRT, Net Promoter and a number of others but they all fail me with large lists and or give inaccurate info.

best I have found is moniker.com bulk online tool but of course the output is limited.

Any suggestions on how to make Devolutions tool work all the time or other bulk checkers??
