I do not deny that there are some known issues these being:

1. The database user privilege check occasionally falsely reports a problem
2. Database tables are not created on some specific versions of MySQL
3. The Scheduled Import system does not work with some feeds, although as of yet I can not replicate this issue.

Any other issues raised are not issues with the plugin. Can I repeat that they only archive supported by the plugin are Zip files, the issues that people are reporting here all seem to be due to Gzipped files being used. I have added this as a wish list for the plugin and will develop a method of dealing with them.

I do not log into this forum every day, and PM's on here do not allow me to match you up with your account on my system and as such it proves difficult to track issues. Can I request people email me with any problems and I will get back to you.

As far as I know I have got back to everyone with problems. I am unfortunately only able to support the plugin, any issues with server setups I can give advice on but I am unable to provide support on that.

It has been requested that I post the minimum requirements, those are on my website:

Wordpress Datafeed Plugin

As for server spec I am sure you will appreciate this will very much depend on what you are doing, what else the server is doing, the size and complexity of the datafeed, the complexity of the template etc etc. I have sites running on very low power VPS servers with 64mb of RAM, but equally I would not expect that to handle Datafeeds of half a gigabyte as one user is expecting, however my dedicated server happily handles that datafeed.

I hope this helps. I will repeat that I will give refunds to anyone for whom the plugin is not working but only where the plugin is at fault, not where the server or datafeed is at fault.

Kind Regards

Matt Houldsworth

I sent you my wordpress login details- you didnt even have a look!
instead you said make sure you have unchecked the gzip radio at affiliate window- is this a standard answer that you ping back to people? you clearly have not been reading my many emails or you would know i did this from the start.

When will we see an upgrade?

Even with daily updates turned off the feeds are still corrupting daily and deleting my posts/content....

This isnt good. Will be looking for a refund soon if it isnt sorted.

I doubt it, the last communication i got from him was denying it was broken and insisting it was because i uploaded a gzip - not a zip!!

just tried this on a completly different host - and it worked!! for 1 upload of awin feed, then when I went into the edit feed options and the random text came back.... and it broke again

Its definatly got some bug in it somewhere..
Im going to try and fix it and help others too - as Digitalquil obviously has no idea whats going on with his own plugin and has since refused my refund and ignored me.

Thats the problem im having. Plugin seems to work really really well at first. Then you go to edit or reimport and it just inserts aload of random junk...

Its just a real shame that everyone is getting ignored.
