It does, but the one I posted is a proper WP plugin and has more features like staggered post creation.

I have seen the ones on the site but didnt go much on them.

Thanks, Darren.

Datafeed Import Plugin

Hi all

Thanks for creating this thread.

To introduce myself, I am the creator of the Datafeed Import Plugin. I am an affiliate marketer and I needed a quick and easy way of making datafeed driven websites. I created the plugin for my use.

When created it was very simple, it only handled CSV files, one feed at a time, no custom fields. I released it as a plugin as I saw that other people had the same issues as affiliates as I did, not wanting to start coding websites for every niche they wanted to work in.

Since then it has developed drastically into the product that we have now.

Yes there are a couple of problems with it. I am working on an issue with the advanced filtering option and with a database problem which seems very specific to some users.

I always ask users to report back any issues they have and any suggestions they have for improvements. All users get free upgrades, not only to fixes but also new features.

I tend to release new versions every couple of weeks, both with bug fixes and new features.

I do not work on this full time; it is a hobby for me. I have many users all using the plugin doing some very exciting things with it!

Hope this gives an insight into what I am trying to do with the plugin.

Thanks

Matt Houldsworth

Thanks for the post. But tbh alot of people starting out in affiliate marketing A: dont have much money and B: are not that clued up on AM. My above post was merly warning acorn members of the way your plugin is at the moment and dont want them wasting their time on money.

I hope you can keep us upto date (me especially) on the plugin and its progress and hopefully it can be a good way of using feeds with wordpress.
