Where can I pay and receive daily lists of .co.uk's that are dropping. domainlore, dont publish a full list. I know there are services out there, but cant find them. I found someone who charges £50 a month or week, but cant remember who it was. Anybody know anyone? |

We stopped when Nominet changed the T&C's, I guess a lot of others will have also stopped. If there's any loophole then I'd have thought there would be a lot of people selling again.

Unfortunately nominet don't give a flying fook about us catching, if they did they would release drop lists themselves. Some people still do them under the radar thankfully. You should pick up DNA Pro and run the lists, some really nice names to be had that don't appear on drop lists.

Personally I don't rate the kind of drop lists Domainlore do as, with only seven days notice, any half decent name will have been long backordered everywhere. Dictionary words, proper names and 3/4 letter combos aside, it never fails to amaze me that people seem happy to fork out £30 for some of the names I see on DLs list! I appreciate some may have value for natural search, backlinks and traffic, but many are barely worth standard reg fee to my eyes. Makes me wonder if some people are just desperate to get a winning catch to the point the actual name no longer matters?!? ![]() The kind of list that would yield better results for good names needs to highlight domains as they become overdue for renewal. A lot of the list would still get renewed but at least, with two or three months notice, people still have a realistic chance to backorder somewhere. I'm not a member of Nominet so I'm not that savvy with their T&Cs for registrars. What is it they say to justify stopping people creating/selling drop lists? Provided they don't publish much of the Nominet Whois info verbatim then I can't see a copyright issue. Surely a drop list is just a publication reporting news that a domain is shortly to become available if it's not renewed at the last minute. What's wrong with that? |
