Question Free Voucher Code Script

Hi,

has anyone tried http://voucherscript.com/ ??

It's free but I am finding it very buggy so about to give up with it.

I'm testing it here: http://www.couponscodes.co.uk/

bazzais is on a distinguished road

Yeah I am making a site from it now. You right there are a few bugs in it and also a few things missing - mainly the email scripts to mail subscribers but I am hoping that the new release is today for it (not that it supposed to include email)

I have been writing a new script to use the icodes webservices2 xml feed of your interested?

Ta

I personally think this is by far and away the best free script available:

http://www.dotnetcodes.co.uk/

Paul over at suedeapple who built it is very helpful in getting it up and running also.

Thanks

Not sure what the views are on here but had a discussion in the pub this week about these kind of sites.

Although voucher codes are great, it is a bit of a raw area TBH.

You build a mini site, add content add back links, groom it in to a FAB website, its on page 1 of Google through blood sweat and tears, it's getting organic traffic after months, and months of hard graft, or maybe pay for adwords at Google and your nice niche is going well. and then .......

Customer clicks to your site see's a bike for example for £2k just about to buy it but see's a discount code box. "Hmmmmmm" Does a search in Google finds www.amilliondiscountcodes.co.uk clicks that link to display the code on that website and BANG your cookie has just crumbled!

Commision lost hard graft wasted.

Fair enough and good on them people but you will find a lot who dislike them kind of cookie pinching sites.

Thoughts?
