Your own Domain Shop

Hi all,

Just looking for feedback if members would use a service I can provide to give you your own "domains for sale" shop area on Acorn Auctions.

This would allow you to have a mini-site within the main site where you can run your own auctions, categories, T&Cs etc. from the AA user interface. You can then decide to list domain auction on the main site, just in your "shop" or both.

Example: http://www.acornauctions.co.uk/Acorn...1,user_id,shop

Colours are hideous so i need to fix that I know. I have just enabled it to test for the moment.

Would people use it?

Would you pay an annual fee for it? (to cover hosting mainly) How much?

I haven't got that many domains compared to some others, so may not be the best to comment. However, I think it depends on the type of users you are looking to attract as traffic (domainers or end users?).

I think it's something which would potentially work better if it was separate to the 'Acorn Auctions' website under a more generic brand. It could perhaps then have a database of ready-to-buy UK domains considered to be premium along with each user getting their own 'shop' which includes all their names to give out as a link to others.

Edit: Having read back what I have just wrote - it can be summarised by just saying... 'a better version of Sedo'

I Think it's a good idea. Haven't a clue what you would charge though. Maybe a nice fancy addition to someones profile page with domain sales page there?

It could make more catchers flip domains rather than looking for silly prices.

FCDOMAINS greatest site I've ever found and used. Amazing domains at prices you can still sell on to end users. ( just in case your reading this and have never been there... Go now lol )

Would be fab if there were more sites like this listed on the new sales sites your adding.
