I bought some software on ebay a while back and included was info on how to find back links. I thought i would share this info here:

Find .edu blog, type:
site:.edu inurl:blog
Find .edu forum, type:
site:.edu inurl:forum
find .gov blog, type:
site:.gove inurl:blog
Find .gov forum, type:
site:.gov inurl:forum
Other General
site:.gov inurl:blog "post a comment"
intitle:add+url "keyword phrase"
intitle:submit+site "keyword phrase"
intitle:submit+url "keyword phrase"
intitle:add+site "keyword phrase"
intitle:add+your+site "keyword phrase"
intitle:directory "keyword phrase"
