This thread I started a while ago shows an example (probably a bad example)

More info about the weirdness I found in G's keyword search tool in that thread - but my example then was "occiput":

How can 'occiput' have over 4000 exact searches and 1600 broad searches? Are they mutually exclusive?...

(Also: How can 'occiput' have a CPC of £0.51 when no ads are showing on a Google search page when I search for this keyword?)
Maybe I'm missing something with this tool. On the whole the results seem very plausible and I believe them but I still come across examples that make me wonder how accurate the tool is.

I must admit that Occiput.co.uk looks strange, I remember with overture they used to have some barmy results pop up from time to time.

PS, you got me worried now you sod, just bought a £600 domain with a crap url but high google search results.

So I don't know if I'm telling you the truth of clutching at straws, not to worry though mate for 6 months I was valuing names on google "Broad". Thinking that was accurate

All the best

High Google results are one way to work it out, but -

I registered a name because it got high Google results recently, in a bunch of similar style names, and decided to focus on developing it because it was the highest in the list.

Zilch nada cash later, I looked harder - the results are high because I picked the name of a company that went bust in spectacular manner in 1976.

WTH some you win, some you lose ...

thebutler is on a distinguished road

High Google results mean...

High results don't really mean much until you get get into the top five or three positions in the SERPs.
