Only early morning drops for me too. I've noticed a few days recently when nothing on my list has dropped for an unfeasibly long time to be truly randomly distributed throughout the day.

don't equate random with equally spaced.

Random means for e.g 10 names they could all drop in the space of 1/2hr or they could drop one after the other with a space of ~2hrs between.

I know that - I was just observing that there must be gaps during the day when names aren't dropping otherwise at least some of mine would have dropped.

Question is whether they are supposed to drop randomly throughout the day as we imagine is the case, or whether they are going to drop randomly within certain time bands.

Has anyone seen anything drop yet?? I just called Nominet who seemed to think that there wasnt a problem but 'will pass my concerns on' to the relevant people!

I suggest a few more people call them, it may convince them that there is a possible issue and they might get their arses in gear?

I was just about to ask the same question. Does anybody know if this has ever happened before, and if so how it was managed? i.e. will yesterday's drops be added in to today's (assuming anything drops today) or will they be spread over next few days etc..

    Stephen.
