![]() | 2006 Annual Report
Dark Blue Sea (darkbluesea.com) are the owners of Fabulous.com and Domain Active Pty. Ltd. Here's their 2006 Annual Report, well worth a read if you have an hour or two spare. Just about the best write up on domains I've ever read. http://www.darkbluesea.com/announcem...ts_-_final.pdf |

Yes, interesting read from someone who obviously knows their stuff and is backed up by significant revenue and profitability. Thanks for this. I found this extract particularly interesting: "The door is now effectively closed to any new entrant trying to build a domain name portfolio with significant direct navigation traffic using “mining” or “expired domains” techniques. Purchasing domains in the secondary market is now the only option available for significant new investment." If this is the case the value of a "direct navigation"/ generic domain can only increase over time. |
