New Cookie Law

I have added a script to have Acorn comply with the new cookie laws, it appears in the forum footer and I hope is unobtrusive once you have accepted the site cookie policy the first time.

I'm seeing it in the bottom right corner displayed in orange. (using chrome)

Can't see it using Opera browser, now logged in using IE and still nothing there.

It's the same script George is using on Entrepreneur.co.uk, which I think I remember you saying you couldn't see on there either. If so, must be an issue with the script and browser not working together correctly.

EDIT: Haven't got Opera to test but which version of IE are you using? It's loading for me in IE9, although it's partially covered by the scrollbar.

Admin - I take it anyone can use this ?
Do I only have to select UK in the list of countries, or is it wise to set it for all countries ?

@ WB, my browsers I used are:

IE Version is 8.0.7600.16385
Opera Version 11.52

I really can't see the point of this Cookie Law thing. If it's not enforced either, blow to that!

Didn't show for me to start with but maybe something to do with if you have already accepted the cookie not sure.

You can set it per country I think but I didn't bother.

I don't see the point of the way it's implemented on this forum, since there's no "I'm not happy" option i.e. it doesn't give people a choice (which is what I thought the law was all about).
