My above link makes no sense now as my posts pointing out the user has dupe usernames has been deleted for some reason.

Perhaps using the vb edited/deleted note system could be something to bring in?

Crying about wrong sections? Eh?

Re read my post.

I am 'crying' about a red repped multi user peddling stuff quite a few users have a problem with. I then see the mod action being one of shuffling the post. Oh, and deleting posts when someone points that out.

What was against the rules of the forum in the content of my posts?

Very odd to see the delete button used on that, but not the red repped multi user trying to sell 'odd' DBs.

Congrats to the new mods! Pretty decent bunch on here so you shouldn't have too many problems keeping things under control.

I see a new member posted 3 appraisal topics here http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/domain...l-domains.html here http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/domain...d-domains.html and here http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/domain...-2-anyone.html

They were all posted in the http://www.acorndomains.co.uk/new-domainers.html section and have now been moved to the appraisal section, seems a bit silly if new members have to have 50 posts, which means they'll just post them anywhere, and then they get moved to appraisals anyway

Can a mod fix my quote above, please, as I can no longer edit my posts on this laptop for some reason.

Thanks kev, Any new members who have joined in the past few weeks who have posted domains straight in the appraisal section and have less than 50 posts have now been removed.

What are you wanting to be edited kev?

Have popped a reported post in as any feedback appears to get deleted

Hopefully a suggestion inside might help the forum out! Likewise I have asked about the bizarre modding last night

Can I just say, as a new moderator trying to do this right, it would be a big help if people use the "Report Post" button if they see anything that needs looking at. The more help we get from forum users then the better.

Thanks
Stephen.
