Its a numbers thing

over the last 8 weeks we have seen an increase in the number of "numeric" bought / sold / xchanged etc, DN's both US and UK on our brokerages /ebay / portfolios etc... we would like to put forward a "NUMERIC" forum on Acorn...

this would include all TLD, ccTLD etc

one of the better things for having this on Acorn, would be that as there has been a lot of:

www.hot1golfhoildays.co.uk
www.g8boobsgalore.co.uk

type of domains it would be an area to keep the crap away from the good(ish!) other names offered etc

as L combos run out (as they have already in some arena's) numeric combo / letter combos will, no doubt, start to take off, mainly because the generic word with a "digit" will be the only way for noobs to get a cost effective DN...

the forum could also contain, say:

numeric general forum
numeric / letter combos 4sale under $x forum
numeric / letter conmbos 4sale over $x forum
pure numerics / high value 4sale
numeric help / advice / guide forum

so to recap:

1 new numeric forum
4 / 5 sub forums

any thoughts guys / gals...

could you make it longer DB? no based on? thx

if you / anyone looks at the amount of numerics sold elsewhere... the uk numerics are good value and can be bought and sold in ease... unlike .com's etc...

if their was a numeric forum it would keep the chaff with numberletter combos out of the threads for goodish ones...

anymore thoughts, lots of views on this subject!
