It simply a matter of cost since chat rooms chew up servers.

I have been quoted £50 a month...

I use flash chat on www.closeprotectionworld.co.uk - I did have to change hosts which allowed me to use it.

its only $5 and integrates with vbulletin (members etc)

Theres a way to slow the refresh rate for lower host demands etc

I tried that before, my host told me to remove it or they would kill my account. Can I host it on a server different to that of the forum? What host allows it?

Yes it does, very easily.

its a good chat room grant, except i find it it a bit of a pain logging in because when I go to change password to one I can remeber there is problem with the form fields in the worng place take a look
