Domain Trader Rating

Dear Members,

We have added a "Domain Trader Rating" system to the forum to allow members to leave feedback on domain name bought, sold or traded.

It works a lot like the eBay style rating system with options for good and bad rating.

We hope this helps to generate even more sales activity through the Acorn Domains sales forums.

Click on the "Domain Trader" link on the top navigation bar to see your own Domain Name Trader rating at any time or click here

To leave a rating for another user, click on their rating number:
Domain Trader Rating: (0) <-- click this in their User Profile

or

Domain Trader Rating: <--Click this in any of their posts
(100% / 1)

Feature List:

Rate another member: Positive / Negative / Neutral
Specify in each transaction: Buyer, Seller, or Trade
Leave multiple comments about the deal
Specify a thread URL to the deal (optional)
Users can edit/delete ratings left for others (time based limitation)
PM notification when new rating or comment is left

do sedo and ND get this feature as well....and perhaps nominet staff

nice feature - i doubt anyone here will get anything by good responses!

thanks admin a feature i am sure lots of people will use.

will also give a good indication of how much activity is generated as a result of the forum.

Yes I thought that too, it will be interesting to see how many commission cheques I am owed

does anyone donate if they make a sale as a result of listing a domain on the site?

or do you just get donations from people who take un'reged domains??

I have only had 1 donation from a domain sale but quite a few from the drop lists.

do you know if the donation was a % of sale or fixed amount

also do you know if the name was picked up from the site in the first palce?

It was picked up from the drop lists here and the seller gave me 1/3rd of the sale price

Perhaps a guide to donation levels if used PM's / forum to sort a deal with users reminded etc... ? ie.
£0 - £250 = £10 donation
£250-£500 = £25
£500-£1k = £50

or do you prefer to work in crates of beer or bouquets of flowers ?
