Question Premium Section Rules

After all the comments I want to keep the discussion going on the Premium section rules.

It was mainly around bumping a thread when it's at auction outside of Acorn.

So let's continue with this, what do people think:

Premium Domains cannot be listed elsewhere for sale than the thread?
If they are, what bumps are allowed?

If they are at an offsite auction, can they be bumped each time a new bid is made?

Let's find a balance that everyone is happy with and sell more premium domains!

My vote is that if the domain is being auctioned off site then it should be in the auctions section.

There are loads of "premium" (£1k plus) names being sold on DL, Sedo and now Flippa that make over £1k, and if they were all posted and then bumped every time a bid was made then it'd take over the forum.

I agree with Ty, put any external sales into the auction section.

One bump is acceptable near the auction end time but it is not necessary to keep bumping when a new bid is made.

Yup, I've nothing at all against a "one day to go" or "few hours left on this one" bumps - it's useful to get a reminder.

Bug

I think that anyone posting a domain for sale outside of Acorn should be greatful of a thread at all, I remember if people sell on here they make a donation to you, I have only had 1 decent sale on here in which I give you £35, I know it's not a lot but I do wonder how you're making money these days with most sales taking place on DL ??

1 bump near the end is enough

I would expect with the executive accounts, the adverts and donations it is profitable. The point is its not about the money.
