More Mods

Following on from the thread that was desperately needing a title change for about 10 hours, can I suggest that admin goes on a recruitment drive to take on a few more moderators. I'm only aware of 2 at the moment, no disrespect to them at all, there's just way too many posts for 1 or 2 people to handle especially when they're giving their time for free and can't be on here 24-7.

Why the need for additional mods ? Acorn has proved itself as a good self-regulating board, Sure it takes the occasional, slap-down from those that have a thought-out interest in Acorn . (Perhaps we can call them Mods - without badges)

Trying to Inject a different persona, wouldn't be good. - ( DS hasn't recovered)
Hopefully the personalities that are sometimes criticised, equally understand that is a price of recognition and influence

I would agree but they need guidance.

There are a couple of examples I could go into , but overall if the mods are soley to move or change thread titles then it will remain a hotchpotch job.

I didn't contact anyone, was expecting it to be spotted by a mod but it wasn't for hours, which is the point of my original post.

I just think a few more mods would tidy this place up a bit. For example, looking at page one of fixed price sales there are currently three threads that don't have a domain listed in the title.

I think if everone including me upgraded their membership then Alan would be more interested in regulating the place, as far as I'm concerned anyone not paying to use this site shouldn't moan and actually be grateful for the forum, the amount of times Acorn as gone down and Alan gets onto it straight away and can spend days working on it and for what

If you think about ( I include myself ) �100 per year = only �2 per week including 2 weeks free for Christmas

I appreciate what Alan does and therefore tend not to complain
