It's a difficult one. I'm sure a lot of people are here to buy and sell domains but would they pay for the privilege?

I wouldn't want to see the forum drop off likes the auctions have because I introduce a fee system. Maybe i should give free credits to members with XX posts or rep as part of the reason for charging is to keep the name quality higher.

Thoughts?

To be honest they dropped off my radar completly, and in the manner I access the forum I dont see them.

If and when I log in you see auctions listed, but that seems to be , or I assume , it is Sedo tat. Ad blindness

I did think this would happen for me I think fixed final value fees work better.

As for the quality issue isn't that already controlled by what is accepted by yourself.

Also on the quality issue not all of us have names xxxx -xxxxx value it would be nice to have a good auction venue for dare I say high xx -xxx domains to be sold.

I know I may be in the minority on this last point but is it worth a discussion?

I have removed the need to buy credits for the time being.

A lot of people access the forum through the 'New Posts' or 'Daily Posts' links.

Is it worth adding the auction box to the top of the search page as well as the home page?

not sure if this is the right place to post - but do any of the folks that run domainlore auctions visit this forum?

am trying to register but unable to do so and none of the activation links work
sent them an email, but still waiting to hear back so thought i'd see if there's anyone here...
