Post Editing Time Limit?

Just wondering what the current editing time limit is before the 'edited by' line appears in a post - is it set to member groups individually or to all members identically within the same settings?

It shows the edit line very quickly after changing something (e.g. a typo/spelling mistake or a thread title edit) - is this around two minutes? Wondering if it could be upped to something like ten minutes or similar?

I know too long (e.g. 24 hours!) would cause potential difficulties, but if it could be upped a little, I feel that would be useful so posts typed incorrectly can be altered, etc.

It does appear to be fairly random. I wondered if it's down to who's on mod duty or if sometimes on "Instant Auto"

I'm always correcting typos - so see it often enough on my posts as for them to look odd without the Blue 'edit line'

I think its post editable until someone reads the thread. Rather than a set time.

Unless you use a mobile phone and tap talk etc. Then you can edit and it doesn't show up.
