Home info packs delayed to August...

The introduction of Home Information Packs is to be delayed until August - when they will be brought in for sales of four-bedroom properties.

its cheaper to take the �200 fine and not bother to have a HIP ive heard?

thats good news for me!

i was trying to beat the June HIPS deadline, and probably wouldnt have managed it! gives me a bit more time.

Not if you've sold your house. It is no longer your house to gain access for hims pack.

I also read there are no additional funds being made available to enforce, so many could slip under the net altogether.

The estate agent will also be held liable for selling a house without a HIP, and their fine is a lot more iirc - it's enough to make sure that no agent will touch a property without one...

I have HIP domains if people want them?!
